Jennie Knapp is a problem solver who finds satisfaction in helping to shape the law through her appellate practice. She forms her clients’ legal arguments in a way that clearly and effectively represents their interests by simplifying complex legal concepts.
Jennie Knapp is Board Certified in Civil Appeals by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Her appellate practice starts in the trial court, where she works to build records that support dispositive motions and provide valuable insight on important issues like preservation of error, burdens of proof, and standards of review. As an appellate attorney, her practice also involves passionately presenting each client’s unique case to the court of appeals in written briefs and oral argument. She has represented clients in over fifty appeals in the Texas appellate courts and the Fifth Circuit.
In addition to her active law practice, Jennie serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Supreme Court Historical Society and is a past council member of the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section. She regularly speaks and writes on issues relevant to appellate practice. With each client she works with, her end goal remains the same: to find the best resolution for them so that they can focus on their businesses and lives.
