Mike Smiley works with trade creditors, banks, credit unions, and private and public lenders in a range of areas, from agricultural, commercial and consumer disputes to collection, litigation, bankruptcy matters, and business transactions. His practice also encompasses creditors’ rights, including judicial and non-judicial lien enforcement, real property and home equity foreclosures, repossessions, and sequestrations. Additionally, Mike has represented clients in construction disputes, contract review and enforcement and bonds claims, real estate matters, handling title insurance claims and title curative work.

Mike’s litigation experience extends to both state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court. As the leader of Underwood’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights group, his leadership and expertise have been pivotal in navigating intricate cases involving financial transactions.
