As a dedicated advocate for local governments and their communities, Courtney White brings a deep understanding of municipal law and a passion for serving the public.

Courtney White worked within a municipality for seven years while serving as Assistant City Attorney to the City of Amarillo on general counsel issues.  She worked closely with staff and board members and advised them on the Texas Public Information Act and Texas Open Meetings Act. She represented and advised the city in employee civil service appeals, Chapter 143 disciplinary appeals, and procurement issues. She has also drafted ordinances, resolutions, forms, programs, and agreements, and prosecuted class C misdemeanors in municipal court.

In addition to working as an Assistant City Attorney, Courtney worked in private practice for four years handling corporate reorganizations, M&A, governing agreements, leasing documents and amendments, and asset purchase agreements.

Her experience working in-house at a municipality and in private practice allows her to determine her clients’ specific pain points and objectives.
